Exploring Game Development with MonoGame
Over the past month, I've started to learn how to use MonoGame to gain a deeper understanding of the mechanics behind game engines. Although Unity has always been my preferred choice, I was driven by curiosity to delve into the intricacies of game development from a more fundamental perspective. My initial project was a straightforward setup featuring a player character and interactive objects to demonstrate collision mechanics. The textures, crafted with Affinity Designer, were integrated into the project, to provide some engaging visuals to showcase below.
